All About Veatch Construction

Richard and Lynn say,

We came to Midland in the fall of 2003 to look for a home because of an upcoming job transfer. We weren't finding what we were looking for in the existing homes we had been shown, so we decided to look at new construction. That is how we met Thomas Veatch, we saw a house that he was building and our realtor contacted him. After discussions with them and looking at the house, we decided to purchase the home. It was at the stage in the building process where we needed pick out all of the finishes, paint colors, tile, grout colors, backsplash, light fixtures, carpet, etc. It was a challenge for us as we had never owned a new home before, and we only had one afternoon to do all of this before heading back to Wyoming. We would not be seeing the house again until it was completed and we did a walkthrough prior to closing. Thomas made the process very easy by escorting us to different builders marts in the area to make our choices, and helped us in the process by making suggestions based upon our tastes and her experience. Once we left town, Thomas would send us pictures via e-mail to show us the stages of completion as it progressed. When we arrived back to Midland to complete our move, we met Thomas at the house to do a walkthrough, it was more than we had hoped for!

After being in our new home for 3 years, we decided to move to a larger home, we looked at a lot of other builders in the area, but went back to Thomas based on their quality of construction, attention to detail, and the fact that when Thomas told us something, his word was his bond, he always follows through as represented, there are never any surprises in dealing with him.

We have now been in our second Veatch home for 3 years, and the house is great! It's very well built, energy efficient, reasonable to heat and cool, and we have no regrets about our purchase.

We have no hesitation in recommending Veatch Construction, in our opinion, they are among the top builders in West Texas. For that matter, as compared to other builders in states we have lived in such as Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, and New Mexico. Thomas is a true craftsman, who takes pride in the product he turns out, and you won't be disappointed if you decide to purchase a home from him.
